Physical Characteristics:
· Hot and dry climate- It
usually is around 65 degrees in January, then it slowly climbs to June and can get up to 112 degrees
· 90% of Egypt is Desert
· They build Pyramids for monumental tombs for the Pharaoh’s
· Tombs were used for burying Pharaoh’s
Some animals that are native to their land are snakes, crocodiles, and hippos
· Their main crops are wheat, flax, and papyrus, but they also grew lots of food
· The black Land was area
around the Nile with fertile soil used for growing crops. When the Nile flooded,
black silt was deposited, giving them rich soil.
· The red land was the
